From New Zealand to the Australasian Stage

Mayfair Pools & Spas has added three Australasian Gold Awards to an already impressive 2026 awards tally, following another successful evening at the Australasian SPASA Awards of Excellence.

After receiving 23 awards at the 2026 New Zealand SPASA Awards, including Fibreglass Pool of the Year, Commercial Project of the Year, Specialty Project of the Year, and Best Fibreglass Pool Builder, a number of our winning projects progressed to the prestigious Australasian finals.

We were thrilled to come away with three Gold Awards:

  • Gold Enclosed or Indoor Pool – Mayfair Pools Marlborough

  • Gold Renovation Under $40k – Mayfair Pools Canterbury

  • Gold Fibreglass Lap Pool – Mayfair Pools Otago & Southland

The Australasian Awards bring together outstanding projects from across New Zealand and Australia, making this recognition particularly special for the Mayfair teams behind each of the winning projects.

It also rounds out a fantastic year of recognition across a diverse range of Mayfair projects – from new residential pools and renovations to commercial projects, innovative design, sustainability, and technically challenging builds.

Most importantly, these awards recognise the people behind the projects. We’re incredibly proud of our regional Mayfair teams and grateful to our clients, professional partners, suppliers, and everyone else who contributes their expertise along the way.

To have our work recognised at both a New Zealand and Australasian level is a wonderful achievement, and a fitting end to the 2026 SPASA Awards season.

I was born in Canada, and grew up around Vancouver and the mountains of British Columbia. My love of pristine environments led me to New Zealand and eventually to the mountains, lakes and rivers of the central North Island which is home. My family’s heritage is here, and it’s from here that Korio traverses the planet.
