Coastal Curves at Wiroa Station
A beautifully curved custom pool brings flow and contrast to this expansive courtyard. Set within the clean lines of the home and paving, its curvilinear shape breaks up the geometry, creating a more organic and inviting entertaining space.
These clients wanted a decent-sized, decorative pool that would be deep enough for a diving board and fit within their existing courtyard space. They also wanted to maintain a patio area ample enough for entertaining in style and spending quality time with friends and family.
The completed project transforms a bare, square courtyard into a welcoming space, thoughtfully curated for entertaining. The pool’s curves contrast beautifully with the clean lines of the home and paving, softening the geometry of the courtyard and creating a more organic, natural atmosphere.
Very much a one-of-a-kind pool, in addition to the curvilinear shape, it includes a custom spa, wide entry steps, a safety ledge, secondary access steps, and a 2.8-metre deep end with a diving board —offering spaces for both relaxation and active fun.
Safety fencing surrounds the entire patio area rather than separating the pool itself, allowing the pool and outdoor living spaces to flow together. This considered approach makes entertaining effortless while keeping the pool visually connected to the courtyard.
Finished with light-toned paving that complements the home’s natural palette, the pool sits comfortably within the architectural setting while providing a striking focal point for this coastal property.
