This pool was designed as a natural extension of the home’s extensive deck, with a strong emphasis on usability and safety, all while echoing and accenting the sleek lines of the home.

 

Set in front of the main outdoor living area, the pool sits comfortably within the deck, maintaining connections to the house while opening out to the surrounding grounds with a clean infinity edge.

A generous step and beach-style entry creates an accessible transition into the water, supporting both casual use and relaxed social gatherings. A continuous safety ledge runs the full length of the pool, providing reassurance for swimmers of all ages while maintaining a clean, uncluttered appearance.

Finished with light-toned paving and enclosed by a glass balustrade, the pool area feels open and structured without visual heaviness. The result is a well-resolved family pool that balances considered design with practical, everyday functionality.

Hi, I’m Kim and I work with a great team to help individuals, as well as small and not so small businesses get their message, product and services to the world using digital media and creating wonderful websites that don’t cost the earth.

I was born in Canada, and grew up around Vancouver and the mountains of British Columbia. My love of pristine environments led me to New Zealand and eventually to the mountains, lakes and rivers of the central North Island which is home. My family’s heritage is here, and it’s from here that Korio traverses the planet.

The digital world is never static and neither are we.
