Between Grove and Gulf
Set among orderly rows of olive trees and overlooking the winding inlet below, this elevated infinity pool is a direct response to its remarkable setting. Positioned high above the estuary, its orientation draws the eye from grove to gulf, extending the waterline toward distant hills through a clean infinity edge.
Set among orderly rows of olive trees and overlooking the winding inlet below, this elevated infinity pool is a direct response to its remarkable setting. Positioned high above the estuary, its orientation draws the eye from grove to gulf, extending the waterline toward distant hills through a clean infinity edge.
The design is defined by strong, simple geometry and a restrained material palette. Light-toned pool surrounds provide a clean edge to the water, while timber decking introduces warmth and continuity with the adjacent outdoor living areas. A frameless glass balustrade encloses the pool without interrupting sightlines, reinforcing the openness of the space.
Rather than acting as a standalone feature, the pool is integrated into the broader layout of the home and landscape. It functions as a central outdoor zone that supports both everyday use and entertaining, while maintaining a clear architectural relationship to the house. The result is a composed, site-responsive pool that prioritises proportion, clarity, and long-term usability.
