This Waikawa renovation transformed an aging concrete pool into a clean, modern outdoor space designed for relaxed family living. Featuring a durable fibreglass lining, extended lounging step, sleek terrazzo paving, and a fresh deck to the pool house, the result is a low-maintenance, high-impact upgrade made for everyday enjoyment and effortless entertaining.

This client's pool had extensive earthquake damage. They wanted a finish that would last, retaining its good looks and integrity for years to come.

This client thought they were embarking on a brand new pool build. Everything changed when they discovered a 45 year old concrete pool buried in precisely the same place! Turns out they unearthed a hidden gem in great condition, and the Mayfair team were easily able to shift tacks and renovate rather than build.

Though very happy with the overall design of their old pool, these clients knew that in order to enjoy it for many more decades to come, this pool needed a Mayfair refresh, with a fibreglass lining to make it shine and stand the test of time.

This concrete pool had extensive earthquake damage so the client pulled in the Mayfair team in Mayfair Marlborough to fix it up once and for all.

What must have been a fantastic pool in its day was well overdue for some love. And boy did it polish up well with the help of Mayfair’s master craftsmanship.

A massive pool has massive visual weight and can make (or break) the landscape. So when it was found this pool was leaking with surface damage it was a no brainer to modernise the whole look, and return the entire area to its former glory.

After chlorine had eaten away the concrete of this pool it was time for a refresh. A new custom fibreglass interior and a tiled infinity edge mosaic add light and brightness enough to match the view.
