This renovation began with an existing pool that felt dated and difficult to use. Its irregular shape took up valuable space within the courtyard and made the surrounding area feel busy and disconnected.
The pool was reshaped into a clean, rectangular form, creating a more practical layout and a stronger connection with the home. New paving, frameless glass fencing and a simple built-in seating area helped bring the wider courtyard together, while the lighter finishes gave the space a fresher, more open feel.
The result is a pool area that works far better for everyday living. By simplifying the shape and reconsidering the space around it, the renovation transformed an awkward layout into a calm, modern outdoor retreat.
