Designed for relaxed weekends and easy maintenance, this custom pool sits naturally within its striking Akaroa setting.

 

Built alongside a new residence, this custom pool was part of the original design for the home. The brief was to create a relaxed, inviting space for weekends, holidays and entertaining – and one that is low-maintenance to boot.

The homeowner brought a clear vision to the project, personally selecting the tiled finish to complement the home’s dark architectural palette and rugged hilltop setting.

Positioned to make the most of the harbour outlook, the pool is a natural extension of the deck and living spaces while frameless glass keeps the views open. Carefully selected equipment and automated systems make maintenance simple and reliable.

The result is a refined pool with the perfect outlook that is low maintenance and made for relaxed coastal holidays.

Hi, I’m Kim and I work with a great team to help individuals, as well as small and not so small businesses get their message, product and services to the world using digital media and creating wonderful websites that don’t cost the earth.

I was born in Canada, and grew up around Vancouver and the mountains of British Columbia. My love of pristine environments led me to New Zealand and eventually to the mountains, lakes and rivers of the central North Island which is home. My family’s heritage is here, and it’s from here that Korio traverses the planet.

The digital world is never static and neither are we.
