With depths to suit all ages – from a stepping stone edged splash pool to a perfect spot for bombs – all ages can find their feet in this beautifully modern South Auckland pool.

 

Though this house was built two years prior, it was baby steps while the family got everything sorted for a pool build. Once the process was started with Mayfair Pools Auckland South, however, they were away. The final result includes marvellous stepping stones across the pool, which span a splash pad for the wee ones to play in while the bigger kids can find just the right depth for bombs or games with a gentle slope to a deep end.

I was born in Canada, and grew up around Vancouver and the mountains of British Columbia. My love of pristine environments led me to New Zealand and eventually to the mountains, lakes and rivers of the central North Island which is home.
