Perched on the edge of the marina, the brief for this pool was based first and foremost on structural integrity, though there were concerns around the ongoing maintenance of a concrete pool – so it was with great delight the clients learned of Mayfair’s process which allows for the high spec design and easy maintenance of fibreglass, overlayed upon the strength and weight of a concrete base.
The final design elegantly paralleled the curve of the sea wall, with a mosaic tiled infinity edge paired with curved glass to keep the view airy and open. Custom elements like a splash pad and inbuilt spa pool make this pool the focal point for family fun.

"We first engaged Mayfair Pools Northland in the early stages in working through the design of our dream home which was to incorporate a marina fronted custom designed concrete pool with an integrated spa pool. Given how close to the marina the pool was to be located we felt the weight of a concrete pool was the safest, however the concern was the maintenance of concrete such as painting or cracking. A Mayfair Pool which allowed for a custom concrete shell lined with fibreglass allayed all of the those concerns.
